Red Barn - Blue
Red Barn is a smooth, approachable trail in Slaughter Pen Trails that’s perfect for riders looking for varied terrain and a confidence building ride in Bentonville.
At around 2,500 feet long, this blue rated trail winds through varied terrain with just enough variation to keep things interesting. A mild climb is paired with flowing sections that make it easy to settle into a rhythm, whether you’re new to singletrack or just looking for a relaxed spin.
The trail can be ridden in both directions which makes it a great option for to connect to trails like Ozone if you are headed back towards the Razorback Greenway or Tristan’s Trail if you are working through a loop to the North end of Slaughter Pen.
One unique aspect of riding Red Barn today is the visible impact of the storm damage from May 2024 that affected much of Bentonville’s trail system. You’ll still see signs of that event throughout the surrounding forest—a reminder of how quickly conditions can change and the effort that goes into maintaining these trails.
Red Barn stands out as a low stress, scenic ride that’s easy to enjoy for riders of all ages and experience levels.
