Medieval - Blue

Medieval is a fast, intermediate flow trail that rolls out of The Castle inside Slaughter Pen in Bentonville. Recently refreshed over the winter, the trail blends supportive berms, rolling terrain, and plenty of opportunities to grab some air. Smooth transitions connect each feature, allowing riders to carry momentum naturally from corner to corner.

The character of Medieval is approachable but energetic. The berms encourage confident cornering while the rollers build rhythm for riders who stay light on the brakes and pump through transitions. It’s the kind of trail that feels intuitive on the first lap and even better once you start linking features together.

Located in the Castle zone, Medieval is part of the stacked progression system that makes Slaughter Pen one of the most accessible mountain bike destinations in Northwest Arkansas. It’s a natural step up from nearby green trails while still delivering the sculpted, momentum-driven riding style that defines mountain biking in Bentonville.

If you’re searching for intermediate mountain bike trails in Bentonville or planning a Slaughter Pen ride that blends speed, flow, and progression, Medieval is a reliable lap that keeps riders coming back.
